2. Eligibility

• If booking on behalf of others (family, group, organization), you are responsible for ensuring their compliance with these Terms.

3. Bookings & Payments

• A booking is confirmed only when payment (full or deposit, as applicable) is received and you receive a written confirmation from us.
• Prices are subject to change until payment is confirmed.
• Payments must be made using the methods specified on our website or invoices.
• You are responsible for ensuring timely payment and providing accurate details.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellation policies vary by service provider (e.g., hotels, airlines, tour operators). We will inform you of applicable terms at the time of booking.
• In general, cancellations may result in partial or full charges, depending on when the cancellation is made.
• Service fees charged by us may be non-refundable.
• Refunds (if any) will be processed within a reasonable time frame, subject to supplier policies.

5. Customer Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

• Provide valid travel documents (passport, visas, permits, health certificates, insurance, etc.).
• Comply with immigration, customs, and health requirements of your travel destinations.
• Follow all rules, regulations, and instructions provided by service providers.
• Behave respectfully toward staff, partners, and other travelers.

We are not liable if you are denied entry, deported, or face travel restrictions due to incomplete or invalid documents.

6. Travel Insurance Requirement

• Travel insurance is mandatory for visitors to the Maldives.
• You must purchase valid travel insurance covering, at a minimum: medical emergencies, hospitalization, evacuation, trip cancellations, and personal liability.
• Proof of travel insurance may be required before your trip is confirmed or upon arrival in the Maldives.
• We are not responsible for any losses, costs, or damages incurred due to your failure to obtain or maintain valid travel insurance.

7. Travel Risks & Liability Disclaimer

• Travel inherently carries risks (delays, cancellations, accidents, illness, weather disruptions, political events, etc.).
• We act only as an intermediary between you and service providers (airlines, hotels, transport operators, activity providers). We do not own or control these services and are not liable for their acts, errors, omissions, or negligence.
• Our liability is limited to the value of the services booked through us. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• Since travel insurance is mandatory, we strongly advise reviewing your coverage to ensure it meets your specific needs.

8. Changes to Itineraries

• We reserve the right to modify or substitute parts of an itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, safety concerns, supplier issues).
• If changes are made, we will make reasonable efforts to provide equal or better alternatives.

9. Intellectual Property

• All content on our website (logos, text, images, videos, design) is the property of Pearl Drift or licensed to us.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use our content without prior written consent.

10. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use our services for:

• Illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized activities.
• Harassing, abusive, or harmful behavior toward others.
• Interfering with website functionality or attempting unauthorized access.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives.
• Any disputes will first be attempted to be resolved amicably. If not resolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Maldives.
